Note on Recent Work

Much of my recent professional DSP and instrument development work is covered by non-disclosure agreements. As a result, I’m unable to share detailed implementations, code, or audio examples from

this period publicly.

However, some topics that I have been working on recently have included:

Virtual Analog Circuit modelling of the CS-80 Ring Modulator, with implementation now on-board the YAMAHA Montage M Series

From pen-on-paper circuit analysis to VST programming in C++, this challenge also included the opportunity to extend the functionality of the original circuit, by adding features only possible in the digital domain while maintaining a painstakingly accurate circuit emulation. Also awesome to be able to have an original CS-60 at my desk for so long....

A Modern Distortion-Style Effect, Currently Under Development

Unfortunately I really can't say much about this one at the moment, but I am really excited to share more about it once it is finished and part of the YAMAHA effects roster. It's been really fun to take this project right from an initial concept to a VST and on to the onboard DSP, and it's pretty cool if I do say so myself...
